A Historic Smethport Landmark
St. Luke's traces its first services to 1842. The present sandstone church was designed by nationally known architect William Halsey Wood in the 14th-century English Gothic style, built in 1891–92, and consecrated in September 1892. Its original oak, yellow-pine, marble, tile, and tower details remain part of the church today.
